About the Role:
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), will design, execute, and scale our USA commercial strategy. You will be responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of all revenue-generating departments, including Direct Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, and Revenue Operations. As a key member of the executive team, you will unify our sales engine with product innovation, underwriting, and data analytics to accelerate market adoption and build sustainable, long-term ARR growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy & Execution
- GTM Strategy: Architecture and execution of the company’s enterprise go-to-market plan, continuously optimizing pricing frameworks, tier structures, and vertical expansion.
- Pipeline Management: Drive rigorous, data-informed forecasting and pipeline management across all stages of the buyer journey.
Strategic Partnerships & Distribution
- Ecosystem Expansion: Identify and secure high-value commercial relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, and strategic distribution channels.
- Embedded & Digital Channels: Champion digital distribution models, embedded integration opportunities, and API-driven distribution networks to maximize market share.
- Deal Architecture: Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial contracts, joint ventures, and enterprise-level risk-bearing agreements.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Cross-functional Alignment: Bridge commercial initiatives directly with Product, Tech, Actuarial, and Compliance departments to ensure product-market fit and compliant distribution.
- Revenue Operations: Optimize our revenue operations infrastructure (CRM, data attribution tools, and lead routing models) to support a transparent, data-driven sales culture.
- Culture and Mentorship: Recruit, mentor, and scale a world-class, high-performing commercial team
Experience & Qualifications
- Executive Leadership: 10+ years of progressive commercial sales experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a VP of Sales, Chief Commercial Officer, or CRO role.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in B2B SaaS or insurtech ecosystems. A deep understanding of digital insurance distribution frameworks is highly preferred.
- Scale and Growth: Direct experience scaling early-to-mid stage tech companies from single-digit millions to mature enterprise ARR.
- Data Fluency: Exceptional analytical capability with a sharp focus on predictive forecasting, market sizing, and metric-backed performance tracking.
- Communication: Masterful communication skills with a proven capacity to pitch complex infrastructure software or technical platforms to executive-level buyers, board members, and external investors.
